Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in our Level I Trauma and Cardiac Intensive Care Units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision using computerized physician order entry systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient vital signs using advanced telemetry monitoring equipment
- Provide patient education and support to patients and families during critical care scenarios
- Participate in rapid response team activations and emergency interventions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation per Joint Commission standards
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Washington State RN license
- BSN degree strongly preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience in ICU or emergency setting
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and computerized medication administration
- Exceptional critical thinking and rapid assessment abilities
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to function effectively in high-pressure situations
