Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor patient conditions using advanced monitoring systems and document critical changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and rapid response activations
- Maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR system
- Precept new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact license with quick AZ application process)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
