Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during overnight hours with precision and compassion
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic health record system
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure quality care delivery
- Participate in emergency response protocols and code blue situations
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during night shift
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
