Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously during the night shift.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in strict adherence to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care activities, progress notes, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and critical situations with composure and expertise.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infections and accidents.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Missouri.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and function effectively in a high-pressure, night shift environment.
