Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond immediately to critical changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, vital signs, and care provided.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience (Night Shift experience is highly preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced night shift environment.
