Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical status, alerting the charge nurse or physician to any changes.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) as required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
