Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and alert the healthcare team to any changes in condition.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized nursing unit.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and patient needs during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with ICU or Med-Surg experience highly valued.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
