Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions closely, reporting any changes immediately.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic health record.
- Participate in shift handovers and departmental meetings to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment during night shifts.
