Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans and establish nursing care objectives.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and make immediate adjustments to care plans when necessary.
- Document patient care services in medical records in accordance with legal standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Georgia.
- BLS and ACLS certification required (ACLS preferred for certain units).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced night shift environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
