Responsibilities
- Assess Patient Needs: Conduct thorough patient assessments to monitor health status and report changes to the clinical team.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) for all patient interactions.
- Remote Care Coordination: Manage virtual patient check-ins, triage symptoms, and provide health education via telehealth platforms.
- Clinical Support: Assist in the daily care activities of patients, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure cohesive patient care.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
