Responsibilities
- Perform detailed patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor patients' clinical status and intervene promptly to address any health changes.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families regarding care plans and updates.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred based on unit.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
