Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to strict physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and accurately document patient progress in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and health maintenance.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and critical situations.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
