Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using ACLS/BLS protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN # required)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- ACLS/BLS certification (TNCC preferred)
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
