Job Overview:
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical setting. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, documenting all changes accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the State of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New grads welcome with BSN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of patient volume.
