Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in med-surg, ICU, or emergency departments based on unit assignment
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per protocols
- Document patient assessments and care plans in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care delivery
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to changes in condition
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge plans
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state eligibility)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; PALS preferred for critical care
- Minimum 1-2 years acute care experience (new grads welcome with residency)
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with enrollment in BSN program eligible)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
