Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly identifying any changes or deterioration.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical notes.
- Respond to medical emergencies and perform basic life support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as required.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
