Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and responses to treatment accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Provide education to patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Michigan.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (ADN, BSN, or Diploma).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
