Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care under the supervision of experienced nursing staff and charge nurses.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and conditions, reporting any changes immediately to the medical team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and responses to treatment accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including mobility, hygiene, and personal hygiene needs.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care plans and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Ohio.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine passion for patient advocacy and care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to flexible shift schedules.
