Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature, and report any significant changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Document patient information accurately and completely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients at all times.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning activities.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing - ADN or Bachelor of Science in Nursing - BSN).
- Valid and active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (may be obtained during training).
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
