Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate health status, medical history, and physical condition.
- Develop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, setting clear goals and interventions.
- Monitor patient progress continuously, documenting changes in condition and adjusting care strategies as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Provide patient and family education regarding disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure holistic and effective patient care.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Problem Solving: Critical thinking abilities to assess situations, make sound clinical judgments, and respond appropriately in high-pressure environments.
- Professionalism: Demonstrated integrity, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
