Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Respond to medical emergencies and crises with composure and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
