Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Texas (or compact state license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication abilities and teamwork orientation
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
