Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to strict hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and therapists to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide clear, empathetic education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and self-care.
- Document all patient care activities, updates, and clinical changes accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
