Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient health and progress by observing symptoms, recording vital signs, and reporting changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop individualized care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient charts, medications, and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
