Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Oncology
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient vitals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care measures
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs ensuring adherence to clinical protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (or compact license with Texas endorsement)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred for pediatric roles)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in relevant specialty
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- EMR proficiency (Epic systems experience strongly preferred)
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
