Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and medical conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and reactions to treatments accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care instructions, medications, and health management strategies.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and assist in code blue situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
