Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurate documentation of vital signs and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
- Monitor patient conditions for any changes or adverse reactions and notify appropriate medical staff immediately.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety standards, and hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
