What You Will Do
As our Remote Telehealth CNA, you will be the bridge between our patients and their care team. Your primary focus will be ensuring patient safety and satisfaction through virtual communication.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient assessments and monitor vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels) via telehealth devices.
- Document patient interactions and care updates accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient and family education on disease management, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond to patient inquiries via secure messaging and video calls with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and company telehealth protocols.
- Identify potential health risks and alert the nursing team for immediate intervention.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Texas.
- Previous experience in home health, hospice, or telehealth preferred but not required.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace at home.
- Proficient in using computer software, tablets, and video conferencing tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts clearly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for occasional off-site equipment pick-up/drop-off if required).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
