Your Role:
As a Travel RN, you will provide high-quality patient care across various specialties. We value adaptability and clinical excellence, ensuring you have the resources needed to succeed in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, and treatment responses accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment, strictly adhering to infection control standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and shift handovers to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or equivalent based on specialty).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to travel within the Indianapolis metro area for assignments.
