Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough physical assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Medication Administration: Accurately administer medications and treatments while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with hospital policies and HIPAA regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Nevada.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and time management skills.
