Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient recovery and comfort, ensuring immediate response to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment home care, medication management, and health promotion.
- Document patient care activities, medical history, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to all sanitation and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a supportive team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
