Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document patient care information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health management, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Enrollment in a pre-licensure program or graduation date available for verification.
- CPR/BLS certification required (ACLS preferred but not mandatory for new hires).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated compassion and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
