Your Mission
We are looking for a dedicated professional who is committed to patient well-being and possesses a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper lifting techniques and assistive devices.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
- Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current and active California CNA License required.
- Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Experience in long-term care or acute care settings is highly preferred.
- Professional demeanor with a genuine passion for helping others.
