Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs with electronic health records systems
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support as needed
- Collaborate with RNs and care teams on patient care plans
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments per OSHA standards
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support dementia/memory care patients with specialized techniques
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent acute care or long-term experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Clear TB test and physical exam within last 12 months
- Proficient with point-of-care documentation systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper body mechanics
- Fluency in English with clear communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights/weekends
