Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough physical assessments and monitor patient health progress continuously.
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and legible medical records and patient charts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare staff to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations with composure.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, post-care, and wellness strategies.
Qualifications
- License: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication abilities.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
