Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition or response to treatment and intervene as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-care instructions.
- Document all patient care activities, clinical observations, and interventions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
