Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings with emphasis on clinical excellence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols and physician orders
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Mentor junior staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital policies
- Respond efficiently to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact license with quick AZ process)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications maintained throughout employment
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience highly desirable)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends as needed
