Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health records and administer medications/treatments per physician orders.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and patient needs within the unit.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred (will be provided during training).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
