Responsibilities
- Assess Patient Needs: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and monitor patient conditions to ensure timely and appropriate medical interventions.
- Administer Care: Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Collaborate with Team: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Emergency Response: Quickly respond to medical emergencies and critical situations, demonstrating calmness and clinical proficiency.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing School (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (or eligible for compact state license) and Florida.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required; PALS preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting (ICU, Med-Surg, or ER experience highly preferred).
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
