Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in telemetry units with 4-6:1 patient ratios
- Administer medications and monitor cardiac rhythms using advanced telemetry systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for complex patient cases
- Implement evidence-based nursing practices and safety protocols
- Document patient assessments using Epic EMR with real-time data analytics
- Mentor new nurses through our structured residency program
- Participate in rapid response team activations
Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years telemetry experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care telemetry experience
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and cardiac monitoring systems
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
