Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to safety protocols
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity of patient services
- Document clinical observations and patient progress in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Mentor new staff and uphold evidence-based practice standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX) or compact state eligibility
- ACLS/BLS certifications with current expiration dates
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (preferred ICU/ER)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional off-site rotations
