Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population on weekends.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in clinical condition.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in compliance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (acute care setting a plus).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required.
