Responsibilities
- Assess patient health conditions by recording medical histories, symptoms, and results of examinations.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient recovery and progress, promptly alerting physicians to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and support to promote recovery and long-term health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Med-Surg or Telemetry background a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
