Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Provide basic care to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance with dignity and respect.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Hygiene Maintenance: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, sanitized, and organized according to safety protocols.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the nursing staff to report changes in patient condition or concerns.
- Mobility Support: Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and ensure comfort.
- Meal Assistance: Aid patients during meal times, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We provide training for the right candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for helping others and a patient-first attitude.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- License: Current state CNA certification is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
