Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical indicators, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other staff members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventative health measures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
