Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in our fast-paced cardiac unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care planning
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure recovery protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (or compact state)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or telemetry experience
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Pass background check and drug screening
