Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Support patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and feeding schedules.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, physicians, and family members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- A valid driver's license is a plus but not required.
