Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and telemetry
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond rapidly to changing clinical conditions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Mentor new nursing staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in emergency response procedures and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (current and unrestricted)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health records (EPIC system a plus)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients and families
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
