Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate direct patient care and treatment as per the established plan of care.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop optimal care plans.
- Document patient care activities, clinical observations, and responses to treatment.
- Identify potential health risks and intervene proactively to prevent complications.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Commitment to patient safety, privacy standards, and the highest ethical codes (HIPAA).
