Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Document clinical observations and care outcomes in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and weekend shift leadership duties
Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN or associate degree in nursing with 2+ years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TN preferred
- Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environments
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (Sat/Sun) with occasional holidays
